Today we’re going to focus on creating a unique selling proposition for potential hires.

Very often folks spend a great deal of time focusing on creating a beautiful landing page for customers with all the bells and whistles to make a customer feel comfortable enough to book service.

But when it’s time to create a landing page for potential employees they throw up an ugly hacked together form on their website in 2 seconds.

This often ends up failing.

People seek happiness

The folks you hire need to be treated with the same care and attention as your potential clients.

Before they choose to work with you, you have to overcome many of the same fears your clients have to overcome before they do business with you.

And the way we do this is to communicate clearly, but in a warm and friendly manner. Not with harsh disqualifying language but with soft, caring, positive words that show them what’s in it for them.

Matter of fact, if you look at our landing page for hires, you’ll see we cover many of the same conversion techniques that we use for our client landing pages.

This is something that we make sure to use on all of our websites because human faces have been shown to instill trust and increase conversions. And we do the same with our landing page for potential teams.  We want folks to feel comfortable and increase the chances that they will fill out the form in the first place.

Another thing we do is try to communicate as clearly as possible is the benefits of working with us.  Again these are the things we would do on the client side as well.

Another no-brainer, but you’ll very rarely find a lot of companies doing this. It works well.  With all of these elements in place, we will have a wider pool of candidates to choose from (and to refer their friends and so on.) Everybody wins.

So this was short and sweet but I wanted to hammer home why the landing page for hires is so important.

It’s worth taking a look at (what we use) or getting something nice created on 99designs or something like that.
